Our Best Selves

In our current society, we are constantly bombarded by more responsibilities and expectations with less available time/resources. No wonder why we are feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and just not good enough. Each facet of our lives are demanding more of our time and attention. How can we possibly keep up while being pulled in so many directions, and still be able to be our best selves? We can't. What we can do is figure out how to make the space in our lives to take care of ourselves and our own needs. When we don't feel our best, we can't give our best. Those around us may be disappointed, and therefore we feel disappointed that we have let them down. When we are able to find a healthy balance in our lives, not only do we feel more free and in control, but we are able to provide our best selves for others as well.
